Overnight Parking: Ordinance 7-7-9(E) Parking of any vehicle on any public street within the Village, when parking on such street is otherwise permitted, shall be prohibited from the hours of two o'clock (2:00) A.M. to six o'clock (6:00) A.M., unless the vehicle displays a Village vehicle license pursuant to chapter 2 of this title.
Overnight parking on Village streets from 2:00-6:00 AM is restricted to those vehicles having a VALID VEHICLE STICKER. Vehicles WITHOUT a valid vehicle sticker must request overnight parking permission. Overnight parking permission may be granted on village streets where signs do not prohibit and vehicles must be legally parked. Vehicles with flat tires or leaking fluids are not allowed to park on village streets and may be towed. Parking on streets designated as “Snow Routes” is prohibited after 1” of snowfall. Parking on ALL streets after 2” of snowfall is prohibited. Parking on ALL streets after 5” snowfall is prohibited for 72 hours. After 5” snowfall, cars parked on the street may be towed at owner’s expense. Overnight parking may be prohibited for other emergencies as determined.
Overnight parking enforcement begins at 2:00 AM. To avoid a ticket, submit your request for parking permission online using the form below. If you would like confirmation include your email for an electronic receipt. Parking tickets written for overnight violations written after 2:00 AM, prior to online submission will be enforced. Each household is limited to a maximum of five (5) requests for overnight parking per month.
The police department reserves the right to revoke the privilege of those utilizing this night park system if a person is found to be falsifying or manipulating the system in order to obtain extra days of parking.
